Campbells Healthy Request: Mexican Style Chicken Tortilla soup

A Campbell's select healthy request soup, 98% fat free, 40% less sodium. Soup with chunks of chicken, rice, black beans, corn and red peppers. I think this is a very good soup. It really taste like tortillas. The chicken chunks hold up well, they are big enough to really notice and still taste like chicken. Overall, this is a well-balanced soup. No one flavor overwhelms the others, but lots of flavors come through. (130 calories; 2.5g fat; 20g carbs; 8g protein; 20% sodium; per half can)

Campbells Chunky Healthy Request: Grilled Chicken & Sausage Gumbo soup

The soup base is a little spicy, as is the sausauge. I liked this aspect of it. They didn't overdo the spice, but it was clearly there, nipping at your tounge. There is lots of rice, and a few tomato chunks and celery chunks. The sausauge was good, but the chicken didn't live up to the billing, there were small, tastless chunks with no sign of grilling. On balance, this was a good soup, I would gladly get it again. And, since it is a Healthy Request soup it isn't all that bad for you either, the whole can (2 servings) has only 5 grams of fat and 280 calories. Progresso: Tomato Rotini Soup

Mmm, tomato soup. I like a good tomato soup, and this is a good one. The rotini noodles are firm (how they keep noodles firm while sitting in a can of liquid I will never know) There are small chunks of tomato, and bits of spices. This thick soup is slightly acidic, but overall pleasant. Campbell's condensed tomato soup is still my favorite (it has less sodium, fat, carbs, calories, and protein) especially when made with milk, but if you want the un-condensed soup because it is easier to microwave, this is worth trying. Campbell's Italian-Style Wedding Soup

Another long-named one. Campbell's Select Healthy Request Italian-Style Weding meatballs and spinach in chicken broth. Little round pasta pieces, bits of leafy greens, small lumps of sausage, all in a green broth. It may not sound like a recipe for a good soup, but it is. It is different enough from you mainstream soups that it stands out, but doesn't offend your palate. You probably think those are lofty things to say about a Cambell's soup, and you are probably right. In any case, it is worth trying. The 'Healthy' portion of the name refers to it being 98% fat free and 40% less sodium. You won't miss the extra salt, there is still plenty in there. (120 calories; 2.5g fat; 7g protein; 15g carbs 20% sodium; per 1 cup serving. There are two servings in a can, be prepared to eat them both)

Campbell's Tomato Soup

It seems that as we get older, we don't have as much condensed soup. We have more soups like the Campbell's Chunky and Progresso soups. This is a condensed soup that is just as good, if not better than the non-condensed stuff. Simmer up a can of this with three quarters of a can of milk. If you want more flavor, you can add minced garlic or dried italian seasoning. Cream of tomato soup goes great with a grilled or toasted cheese sandwich. It is the perfect lunch for after you shovel snow or on a rainy spring day.

Giant brand Chunky Sirloin Burger soup

Giant's store brand of Chunky Sirloin Burger soup isn't all that great. I think that the liquid was too thick and pasty and the pieces of burger were completely tasteless and had an odd texture. I like the Campbells version of this soup, so it must be the brand here. Not Recommended.
