Look before you rob

Your typical idiot robber here. This guy in Edmonton, Alberta robbed a store and set off the alarm so he smashed the car through the garage door and took off. Unfortunatley for him, he made a number of mistakes. First, he didn't notice that in the building next door their was a police officer and his police dog doing training excercises. Second, when he rammed through the garage door he was going too fast and sammed into a snow bank where he got stuck. the cop heard the alarm, came out to investigate, and the dog (Wizzard) caught him when the robber tried to escape on foot.

Cherry Kit-Kat

I'm not sure, but this may have been a valentine's day special, so be prepared to wait another year to get this. It is your standard Kit-Kat, but instead of a chocolate covering it has a white-chocolate, cherry flavored coating. The coating is very cherry flavored, but it is that artificial tasting cherry. It is an interesting novelty flavor, but not as good as the original kit kat.

Lean Cuisine Salmon with Basil

Salmon, veggies and whole grain orzo pasta. The good side is there are lots of veggies, mostly spinach and carrots (both orange and yellow). It also has a flavorful sauce. It does have a few downsides, first, it is only 230 calories, I would like to see it closer to 300, It could also use another salmon chunk. Also, the cooking time is listed as between 3 minutes and 4:30. That is way too big a range, how do you possibly decide how much time you need? I ended up putting it in for 3:30 then another minute, but it probably would have been better if I did it 3, stir, 1.

Let my wife beat you

A chinese businessman put an ad on the internet looking for someone to pretend to be his mistress and let his wife beat her. Payment: 3,000 yuan for every 10 minutes.

The man's wife had found out he had a mistress and was intent on beatign her up. To protect his real mistress, he wanted a fake one to take the beating.

100 Grand Dark

I have always liked the Nestle 100 Grand bar, a candy bar that is mostly caramel, with little crispy crunchy things on top, and dipped in chocolate. I also like dark chocolate, so just seeing it made be expect it to be a winner. And it is. tasty, chocolatey, and caramelly, how could you go wrong.

Giant brand Chunky Sirloin Burger soup

Giant's store brand of Chunky Sirloin Burger soup isn't all that great. I think that the liquid was too thick and pasty and the pieces of burger were completely tasteless and had an odd texture. I like the Campbells version of this soup, so it must be the brand here. Not Recommended.

Victor Vito

Victor Vito, by Laurie Berkner is a cute, contempary children's music CD. There are a few traditional songs but also a lot of originals. Some good ones are the title song, 'Bottle Caps', and 'Goodnight' (I'm a little frog and my daddy loves me, I'm a little frog and my mommy loves me...) It is a nice change of pace from Old MacDonald had a farm, and you can dance along with most of the songs. 18 months and up.

Penguin Red Mints

Penguin mints are caffinated, each one has one third the caffeine of a soda. The Red mints are cinnamon flavored. Although they have a slight aftertaste they are pretty good. I find them great for the long drives because you can spread out the caffiene intake and not get the ups and downs (and bathroom breaks) of soda.

Trader Joe's Joe's O's

They are not as similar to Cheerios as I expected, they are a bit more airy, but still very crunchy. They are also a bit larger. The main selling point is that they are organic. Overall I like them about as much as Cherios, and are great for feeding to young kids.

Coke

Coke is good, Diet Coke is horrible, especially warm. Coke zero is ok (but
less like regular coke than diet dr pepper is like dr pepper) (yes, I got
tired of hitting the shift key) Coke C2 is ok, but not as good as coke.

Diet Dr Pepper

Yes, Diet Dr Pepper is more like Regular Dr. Pepper. I've always wondered who came up with that, 'is more like' implies there is something that is 'less like' it somewhere, so are they implying that Diet Dr. Pepper is more like Regular Dr. Pepper than Diet Coke is? or do they mean that Diet Dr. Pepper is more like Regular Dr. Pepper than Diet Coke is like Regular Coke?

Those musings aside, it is reasonably close in taste. It is one of the few diet sodas I will choose to drink.
