Capitol Beer and Wine coming to Bethesda
Norfolk Avenue is getting a beer and wine store. I never really noticed, but there isn't a lot of options for getting packaged beer and wine in downtown Bethesda, MD. This will soon change with the coming of Capitol Beer and Wine. It will be located were Limon's Jewelers used to be, right next to the Corner Slice. I saw them busy fixing up the outside of the place last week.

"there isn't a lot of options for getting packaged beer and wine in downtown Bethesda, MD"
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd agree with this. There are quite a few beer & wine stores in the northern area of downtown Bethesda:
- One near Wisconsin & Cordell
- One near Woodmont & Battery lane
- One on the corner of Woodmont & Cordell
They may be small, but taken together you've got options.
Clearly I need to do a little more "research" on the subject. I think the county liquor store sells beer too.
ReplyDeleteI noticed this yesterday when we were in Bethesda looking for a place to have dinner.
ReplyDeleteAs for buying beer and wine -- don't forget Lilit Cafe at Old Georgetown & Auburn
There is also a beer and wine store at the corner of Bethesda Ave and Arlington Road, which opened last year. It has a large selection of specialty wine and craft beer
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, this store is going where La Miche used to be, not Limon's Jewelers. Clearly, you don't know Bethesda too well considering you had no idea that there were all these options nearby.
